What is OutdoorBot?

OutdoorBot is the AI assistant built into OutdoorShare. It has two modes:

Storefront chat widget

The OutdoorBot chat widget appears in the bottom corner of your storefront. Customers can: Ask about specific listings Check availability Get answers to FAQ Be guided through the booking process

The bot is pre-trained on your listing data and business profile.

Admin AI assistant

In the admin dashboard, click the OutdoorBot icon in the sidebar or bottom bar. You can ask questions like: "What bookings are due for pickup today?" "Draft an email to a renter about a delay" "What's my revenue this month?"

Customising bot responses

You can add custom FAQs and instructions in Settings → AI Assistant. These are injected into the bot's context for storefront conversations.
