Inventory & Unit Tracking

Track individual units of equipment — serial numbers, barcodes, and stock availability.

Category: Listings & Inventory

What is inventory?

Inventory lets you track individual physical units of equipment under a listing. For example, if you have 6 identical red kayaks, you'd create 6 inventory records under the Kayak listing — each with a unique ID or serial number.

Why use inventory? Prevents double-booking the same physical unit Helps staff know exactly which unit to hand to a customer Enables barcode/QR scanning for quick check-in/out Provides per-unit maintenance tracking

Adding inventory items Open a listing and click the Inventory tab. Click Add Unit. Fill in: Unit ID / Serial Number, Barcode (optional), Colour, Notes. Set status: Available, In Repair, or Retired. Save.

FAQ

Q: Do I have to use inventory?

Q: Can I assign a specific unit to a booking?

A: Yes — in the booking detail view, you can select which unit is assigned for pickup.
